Originally, Anne is a girl with smooth, long black/dark brown hair. Later on in the series, she gained wavy, brown hair and light brown skin.

Anne is graceful and elegant, with a somewhat shy and very quiet personality. She is shown to be talented and is very caring.

- In Madeline on Stage, she played the lead role of Princess Moon Flower.
- Her American pen pal in Madeline's Halloween is Su Lee.
- She makes an appearance in the 1997 PC game Madeline Classroom Companion ~ 1st & 2nd Grade. However, she is named "Yvette" instead of "Anne".
- It is implied that she and Monique are best friends since the two are shown side by side multiple times.
